As my former server was becoming to expensive I decided to switch back to virtual hosting. I googled and found several, e.g. cyon and metanet. I sent some emails and worked out which webhoster best suits my needs. Finally I’ve decided to choose metanet, one of the market leaders in Switzerland.

Now, I’ve been a client for 1 week, and the their support is just amazing since you can send a support ticket any time and get an answer within a couple of minutes. Furthermore the staff is very competent therefore all their answers are very helpful and flexible. Hopefully all the other things, performance and so on, are also on this high level!

An example: I sent an email at about 1:00 AM and got the answer at 1:35 AM (friday night!), or they imported a large mysql dump in less than 15min!
